Volunteer In Habersham
These opportunities do not require onsite time at Shanklin or a background check.
Silent Auction and Bake Sale
This is an annual event and is our largest fund raiser for the year. We need volunteers to help with setup/cleanup, cashiers during the event, and bakers to make bake sale items. Typically requires 2-3 hours of time.
FOS Board Members
Are you interested in shaping the priorities and direction of the Friends of Shanklin? Being a Board member is a great way to do that. We match your interest and available time to your activities on the Board. Requires less than 5 hours a month with most activity done from your home or remotely.
School Uniforms and Supplies
Once or twice a school year, we solicit uniforms and school supply donations. We need volunteers to collect, sort, and delivery donated items. Time requirement: 2-3 hours during collection process.
